Partner Giorgia Armani
Sergio Galeotti (July 26, 1945 – August 14, 1985)
was the business partner of Giorgio Armani, the Italian
fashion designer.
Galeotti was chairman of Giorgio Armani S.p.A., maker of tailored clothes for men and women. He worked as an architect with Bansi, Belgioso, Terrutti & Rogers in Italy after graduating from the University of Carrara in 1967. Three years later, he became a buyer for Larus, a chain of men's clothing stores in Italy. In 1975 he persuaded Armani, who had been working as a freelance designer, to open his own company and served as his financial adviser.
Galeotti died of a heart attack at his home in Milan on August 14, 1985. He was 40 years old and had suffered from leukemia for a year.
