Jerone R. Hart (September 3, 1946 - November 27, 2010)
was an industrial engineer; accredited judge of the
American Philatelic Society; winner of many awards for collections of
stamps, covers, and imprints from Aden, British India, Barbados, and the
American Civil War period; avid NASCAR fan and former co-owner of a NASCAR
"bush league" race team.
He graduated from Plymouth St. College, University of New Hampshire, and University of Oxford (Ford Foundation Fellowship); associate fellow, Trumbull College of Yale University.

He was predeceased by longtime partner John Boswell of New Haven.
He died on November 27, 2010 of cancer. He was survived by his partner Bob Chiang of New Haven.
