Baroness Elena French Cini (1844–1922) was a prominent Italian feminist, aristocratic leader, and cultural figure.

Born in 1844, she was married to Antonio Giuseppe French and maintained a residence at San Marcello Pistoiese, where she managed a school for young girls. Deeply invested in the advancement and organization of women, she served as the president of the Tuscan Women's Federation (Federazione Femminile Toscana) starting in 1907, and also held leadership as a president within the National Council of Italian Women (Consiglio Nazionale delle Donne Italiane - CNDI). Her estate and villa just outside Pistoia frequently welcomed leading intellectuals, artists, and reformers.

Elena French Cini was firmly embedded in the elite intellectual and artistic circles of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century Italy. She was a frequent participant in the vibrant cultural salons held in Florence, such as the prominent literary gatherings hosted by Carlo Placci at 7 Via Alfieri, where she interacted with leading writers, critics, and artists of the era.

Her connections to the wider Anglo-Florentine literary sphere naturally intersected with the prominent English author and essayist Vernon Lee (the pen name of Violet Paget). Vernon Lee, an iconic intellectual figure known for her pioneering aestheticism, pacifism, and feminist perspectives, moved in the same elite social and reformist circles as French Cini. Both women shared mutual engagements with the progressive intellectual movements and prominent literary figures of contemporary Italy. The alignment between French Cini's prominent role as a leader of the Italian women's movement and Vernon Lee's outspoken intellectual footprint firmly connected them within the progressive cultural network of Tuscany. French Cini passed away in 1922.
