Doreen Owens Malek has published fourteen series romances with Silhouette and a contemporary romance with Warner. She has also published Clash by Night, a World War II novel, with Worldwide, and historical romances with Harlequin. Her titles include The Highwayman with HarperCollins and The Panther and the Pearl with Leisure Books. She published one title for the Silhouette Romance imprint.

Ms. Malek's awards include the 1986 Romance Writers of America Golden Medallion for Crystal Unicorn in the Traditional Category and a Romantic Times magazine award for Danger Zone. Six of her books, including Desperado, Roughneck, and A Marriage of Convenience, have appeared on the Waldenbooks Romance bestseller list.

Ms. Malek was a high school English teacher and reading specialist before becoming an attorney. After earning her law degree, Doreen Owens Malek taught and practiced law before turning to fiction writing. She has worked in the legal field in Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut.

Malek contributed the essay "Mad, Bad, And Dangerous to Know" to Dangerous Men And Adventurous Women: Romance Writers on the Appeal of the Romance. She also published under the name Faye Morgan.

After Made for Each Other in 2001, she hasn't published any other book, nor with her real name Doreen Owens Malek or her pseudonym Faye Morgan. I wasn't able to find any source which could tell us what she is doing now.
