Willie Inez Whatley Warren (September 29, 1912 - June 24, 1973) was an housekeeper from Monroeville, Alabama, who died along with her sons James Curtis Warren, 26, and Eddie Hosea Warren, 24, both from Pensacola, Florida, in the UpStairs Lounge fire in New Orleans in 1973. Jimmy Warren and his younger brother Eddie, both gay, were taking their Alabama-reared mother, Inez, out for the evening.
A native of Frisco, AL, she resided in Pensacola for many years before moving to New Orleans two years before her death.
