William Lloyd Rambo (March 3, 1921 - December 16, 1943) was the partner of Robin May Thomas, young art connoisseur and night-life patron, and son of Blanche Oelrichs. On December 16, 1943, Rambo walked to the Observation Deck on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, tossed away a cigarette and dived over the guard rail, landing amidst Christmas shoppers on the street below.
William Lloyd Rambo was born in Lenoir City, Tennessee, the son of William Robert Rambo (1891–1978), of Dayton, OH, and Maude M. Shubert (1894–1979).
