Scotty Cade (born February 8, 1960)[1] is an American author of Gay romance novels.
He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 8, 1960. He had two sisters and grew up in a small neighborhood along the mighty Mississippi River.
After a brief marriage, he came out to his family. He attended Louisiana State University, majored in Marketing, and managed a large furniture store in New Orleans. He stayed with that company for five years. He later joined a high-tech company in New Orleans, and was transferred to Atlanta, GA where he met the love of his life, Kell Hitcklin.
He worked for a total of six companies throughout his twenty-five year career and ended up as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Public Relations for a very large company based in Atlanta, GA.
A few years ago, he gave up the corporate job and bought a small hotel and restaurant on the island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. About three years into this venture, he hired a general manager to run the business while they took a year off. That is when he started his first novel, "Final Encore". After that first year off, they purchased a forty-two foot motor yacht called “One Mo Time”. They travel the waters of New England all summer long with their Shetland Sheepdog, Mavis, and in October they cruise down south to Charleston, SC for the winter.
