Dr. Samuel William Woodhouse, Jr. (1873 - February 2, 1943) was the curator from 1919 and acting director of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1923 to 1925 (he had taken over in 1923 when Director Langdon Warner left the Museum to take a position at Harvard). He was a member of the Horace Walpole Society, elected in 1926.

He was the son of Samuel Washington Woodhouse (1821–1904) and Sarah A. Peck, his sister was Matilda Roberts Woodhouse (1874–1926).
