Martha C. Dampman (1854 – April 18, 1940) lived at 808 S Aiken Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.

Dampman was born in Honey Brook, PA, the daughter of Jacob Dampman and Catherine Hunter Buchanan. A graduate of the Pennsylvania College for Women, she taught at the Washington Seminary, Washington, PA, and for more than 25 years worked in the reference department at Carnegie Library.

She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church. In 1897 she bought the private school of Eliza McCracken in association with Lucy Hemphill (1862-1943), who was a graduate of Washington Seminary, PA.

Dampman is buried at Honey Brook Presbyterian Cemetery (4331 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, PA 19344).
