Mortimer Allen Alexander (October 14, 1916 - February 18, 2000) is buried alongside his partner for over 40 years, William August Liebherr (1916-2008), at Newton Cemetery (19 Lawnwood Ave, Newton, NJ 07860).

Following his most recent visit to California, Allen was diagnosed with a cancer in the blood. The cancer was in its advanced stage. He passed away on February 18, 2000.^[1]
