Charles Fowler (May 12, 1931 - June 11, 1995) and his partner Kenneth Dresser (August 21, 1938 - September 8, 1995) are buried together at Congressional Cemetery, Washington, District of Columbia, District Of Columbia, USA The tombstone reads: "Charles Fowler, Writer educator spokesman and advocate for arts education - Kenneth Dresser, Art Director and creative Designer, whose artistry enchanted millions."

The “artistry [that] enchanted millions” referred to the Electric Light Parade at Disneyland, the Electric Water Pageant at Epcot, and the Fantasy of Lights at Callaway Gardens, Georgia, all designed by Dresser.
