Husband Craig Bentley

Frank Anthony Polito (born June 27, 1970) grew up in the Detroit suburb of Hazel Park, Michigan. He made his film debut in 1997 as the lead in the short film, "Family Pictures," directed by Jorge Torregrossa. Primarily a stage actor, Frank has worked off-Broadway and regionally at Meadow Brook Theater, Hartford Stage, The Shakespeare Theater and The Source Theater, where he appeared in the Washington DC premiere of "Corpus Christi" by Terrence McNally.

Also a playwright, Frank's first play "John R" (later retitled "Band Fags!") was work-shopped in New York City and starred Tony nominee, John Tartaglia, of Broadway's "Avenue Q."

He received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, and is the author of 3 published novels: "Band Fags!" (2008), "Drama Queers!" (2009) and "Lost in the '90s" (2012).
