Edward C. Perry (June 27, 1908 - October 22, 1993) was a financial adviser to the Lily Tulip Company and Encyclopedia Britanica.
Perry was born and raised in Newark and received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. In the late 1940's, he worked as a comptroller for the Lily Tulip Company, a manufacturer of disposable paper cups and other paper products. He left the company in the early 1950's and worked for several years as a comptroller and financial adviser for Encyclopedia Britanica. After leaving, he worked as a financial adviser for Baptist Affiliated Charities in Manhattan, until he retired in 1974.
Perry died on October 22, 1993, at his home in Manhattan. He was 84. The cause was esophageal cancer, said his companion, Adolfo SardiƱa, who was the fashion designer known as Adolfo.
