BILLY NAME [WILLIAM GEORGE LINICH] (1940-2016) Mario Montez in The Factory. Silver print, the image measuring 247.7x171.45 mm; 9 3/4x6 3/4 inches, with a Linich Credit/Factory Photo hand stamp on verso. Circa 1965. Billy Name was a lover, muse, and friend of Andy Warhol. He extensively documented The Factory and the superstars that graced its silver painted walls. This print depicts a confidently posed star, Mario Montez, who appeared in several of Warhol's films including Batman Dracula, The Chelsea Girls, and Screen Test No. 1, 2 & 3.
