Billy Heekin (November 13, 1959 - January 3, 1996)
was a
model who was very well known in
the New York City gay community and active in ACT UP.He was a graduate of St Nicholas Of Tolentine High School, Class 1977.
The Stonewall Community Foundation hosts the Billy Heekin Arts Award, a national art contest and exhibition open to artists under 21.
