Antoon Marinus "Ton" Slierendrecht (October 30, 1931 - September 1, 2013) was, since the late 1950s, the partner of Johnny Jordaan. When Jordaan finally got a divorce from his wife in 1982, he entered a legal union with Slierendrecht.
Slierendrecht stood by the singer in good and bad, and even after his death in 1989 he took every opportunity to draw attention to the musical heritage of the famous Jordaan singer.
Despite this, in 2005 during the presentation of the very successful Johnny Jordaan DVD, he was bluntly not invited. At his own death, Ton Slierendrecht was cremated in silence, said Barry Hulshof, who, after Johnny, lived with Ton for 23 years and, together with the dog, was the only one at his cremation. He lived right across from the Jordaan, in the house on the Frederik Hendrikplantsoen where Johnny and Ton used to live.
